MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 11, 2015           11.45 P.M.

Bihar Assembly Election - 2015

Bihar Assembly Election – 2015

Polls to the 243-seat Assembly would be held on October 12, 16, 28, November 1 and 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.

With the announcement of dates of Bihar Assembly Elections 2015, battle lines have been drawn. Armies are out in the battle field. Arms are in place. Swords are being brandished. Quiver is in place and bow is already in position to start the attack. But a big question mark remains. Who will win the battle? There are 4 formations.

1 – NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE  [ BJP + LJP + RLSP + HAM ]

2 – MAHAGATHBANDHAN [ JDU + RJD + CONGRESS ]

3 – THIRD FRONT [ SP + NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) +  SJD-D (Samajwadi Janata Dal (Democrat) led by former Union Minister Devendra Prasad Yadav + NPP (National Peoples Party) headed by former Lok Sabha Speaker P.A. Sangma ]

4 – LEFT FRONT [CPI (ML-Liberation) + CPI + CPM + RSP + Forward Bloc + SUCI (C) ]

Obviously result is difficult to predict. Media is out with the exclusive(?) opinion polls. But they are so different that one is forced to think that something is terribly wrong. 3 reputed media houses like Zee TV, IndiaBTL & India TV are predicting decisive BJP+ victory. Their survey samples are huge. Their credibility unquestionable and their analysis exhaustive.

Then there is ABP News. They are giving slight edge to BJP+.  According to them BJP is ahead of Mahagathbandhan.

While CNN-IBN & India Today are sure that BJP is going to get defeated in the battle decisively. They have no caste wise, region wise analysis. I don’t know they have come to this conclusion?

Same is the case of print media. Indian Express predicts BJP’s rout, while Times of India gives a slight edge to BJP.

It is certain that some media houses are biased in favour of Mahagathbandhan and they want BJP to be defeated. But this is not journalism. They are supposed to give us news. Not their biased views. The word “PRESSTITUDE”, which is widely used today, seems to be true for a section of biased media.

Please go to the important predictions of the media houses and decide yourself.

Zee TV Opinion Poll

Zee TV Opinion Poll

ZEE TV – JANTA KA MOOD OPINION POLL :

The survey was conducted by JantaKaMood for Zee Media Ltd from October 5-8, 2015.

The pre poll survey indicates that 54 percent electorate is expected to vote for the NDA, while 40.2 percent may vote for grand alliance and 5.8 percent will opt for the Others.

The NDA comprises of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Hindustani Awam Morcha(HAM), Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) & Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP).

The grand alliance has been formed by Janata Dal-United, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress.

According to the survey, if the polls are conducted today, the NDA will be leading in 162 seats, the grand alliance in 51 and the remaining 30 seats will witness a very close fight.

35.1 percent of the Muslim population is expected to vote for the NDA, while 57.9 percent of the minority community will go with the grand alliance-led by Nitish Kumar.

The poll survey further predicts that Hindus will vote in majority for the BJP-led alliance. 57.8 percent Hindus are predicted to vote for the NDA, 36.6 percent will opt for the JDU+RJD+ and Others will get 5.6 percent of their votes.

The survey also predicts a close contest for the Yadav votes. BJP-led alliance is expected to win over 43.3 percent Yadav votes, grand alliance 51.9 percent and Others 4.8 percent.

It seems the female community is inclined towards the Modi-led NDA. Around 57.5 percent female electorates are to vote for the NDA, 36.0 percent will go for grand alliance and 6.5 percent will opt for Others.

According to the survey, vote share in major caste groups in Bihar will be as follows:

Forward votes: NDA is expected to win over 65 percent of the voters, 30 percent will stick to grand alliance and the remaining 5 percent will vote for Others.

Also Read – Grand Alliance set to win Bihar election: Survey

Dalit + MahaDalit votes: 57 percent want to elect the NDA, 36 percent want JDU+RJD+ and 7 percent would go for Others

OBC votes: The BJP-led NDA projected to win over 55 percent, Nitish-led alliance 40 percent and Others to get 5 percent.

50 percent Yadav (OBC) voters want to opt for grand alliance, 45 percent would like to vote for NDA and 5 percent will go for the Others.

52 percent of Kurmi (OBC) want NDA government in Bihar, 40 percent want grand alliance and 7 percent want Others.

While the BJP-led alliance is expected to win over 55 percent of EBC voters, ‘Mahagathbandhan’ will get 40 percent and Others 5 percent.

The Khushwaha (EBC) community is tilted towards the NDA and is 57 percent are likely to vote for it. 40 percent want to side with Nitish-Lalu and rest 3 percent are tilted towards Others.

Furthermore, the electorate from Koeri (EBC) want NDA. 58 percent want BJP-led alliance, 37 percent want JDU+RJD+ and 5 percent would vote for Others.

NDA is projected to win over Teli (EBC) with 70 percent of the votes.

There is a close contest for the Adivasi votes, with NDA predicted to get 47 percent, ‘Mahagathbandhan’ 48 percent and Other s 5 percent.

The pre poll survey also said that the NDA, which registered an emphatic win in the 2014 General Elections, is expected to get 54.2 percent of votes in the 32 Lok Sabha seats. JDU+RJD+ is likely to get 40.1 percent and Others 5.7 percent.

If Lok Sabha elections are conducted today the NDA will win over 39 seats and JDU+RJD+ will fail to open its account, the survey said.

Interestingly, the survey says that aligning with Lalu will backfire Nitish. While, 59.7 percent say that the alliance will  hamper Nitish’s prospects in the polls, 30.2 percent think otherwise.

Another interesting factor is BJP is immensely gaining from PM Narendra Modi’s rallies. 62.8 percent think BJP’s star campaigner’s rallies are impacting the voters.

The survey is conducted through telephony. Survey sample is created through random sampling at Assembly constituency level for all the 243 Assembly seats. Approximately 10 lakh people from Bihar were approached in this round of survey. Data processing, analytics and historical data review are used to derive insights from the collected responses.

——————————————————————–

INDIABTL OPINION POLL :

A few key learnings from the data

  1. The Upper Castes (Brahmins, Rajputs, Bhumihars and Kayashtas) were strongly behind BJP alliance with over 3/4ths of them preferring to vote for NDA, irrespective of who the candidate was (caste of the candidate did not matter)
  2. The Dalits are strongly behind NDA while Mahadalits are moderately behind the NDA.
  3. The Muslims are very strongly behind the Grand Alliance and the 3rd front and MIM has not been able to dent much from this votebank
  4. The OBCs (almost half of Bihar’s population) are a divided house. However more OBC voters prefer the Grand Alliance than the NDA
  5. However this skew is largely because of the presence of Yadav, Kurmi and Koeri voters in the OBC fold who have rallied behind the Grand alliance. Leaving them out, a fair majority of other backward communities seem to be behind NDA

We targeted 10,000 voters and successfully got responses from 8782 of them. The voters were distributed across 28 districts of Bihar. The representative sample was close to the actual population distribution of Bihar (except for 1 question on Lalu’s beef remarks which was executed later on a sample of 1200 people from 5 districts). The sample constituted of Muslims 16%, Yadavas 14.5%, Kurmis 5%, Koeris 6%, Dalits 4%, Maha Dalits 10%, Brahmins 5.5%, Baniyas 7%, Rajputs 5%, Bhumiahars 4.5%, Kayasthas 1.5%, and the remaining EBCs at 21%.

Vote share and Seats
Using the above calculation, we arrived out at following vote share

Vote share and Seats : : NDA 43.0 % / UPA: 39.8 % / Others 17.2%

Total Seats
NDA: 144 ( BJP 119 + LJP 16 + RLSP 5 + HAM 4 )
UPA: 85 ( JDU 41 + RJD 40 + INC 4 )
Others: 14

—————————————————————–

INDIA TV – C VOTER OPINION POLL :

The BJP-led NDA is projected to win 119 seats, three short of the magic mark of 122 in the 243-member Bihar assembly, says the India TV-CVoter pre-poll survey, results of which were telecast on the channel tonight.

The grand alliance forged by RJD, Janata Dal(U) and Congress in Bihar is  projected to win 116 seats, three less than NDA’s tally, says the pre-poll survey. Eight seats may go to ‘Others’.

The NDA, comprising BJP, LJP, RLSP and HAM, has been projected to get 43 per cent vote share, compared to 41 pc vote share of Lalu-Nitish-Sonia alliance, says the pre-poll survey.

CNN - IBN Opinion Poll

CNN – IBN Opinion Poll

INDIA TODAY – CICERO OPINION POLL  :

India Today had conducted an exhaustive pre poll survey, in collaboration with Cicero. The survey has predicted that the current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is in fact the most popular leader in the state, followed by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sushil Modi. The poll also predicted a clear victory for the Janata Dal (United) lead Grand Alliance, which includes Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal and Rahul Gandhi’s Congress. According to the survey, Grand Alliance got 122 seats, ahead of the BJP lead NDA’s 111 seats. Both the alliances got 41% and 39% voter share respectively.

—————————————————————–

ABP NEWS – NIELSON OPINION POLL :

ABP News-Nielsen’s latest Opinion Poll has projected a fall in the number of seats of the grand alliance of JD(U)-RJD and Congress in Bihar when compared to what they achieved in July.

The grand coalition was projected to win 129 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, according to our Survey conducted two months ago. However, this time around, the Opinion Poll has predicted that the Nitish Kumar-led association is set to lose seven seats thereby dropping down to 122.

According to the Opinion Poll, the BJP-led combine including LJP, RLSP and HAM is likely to win six seats more improving their tally to 118 as compared to the last conducted Survey. But NDA running short of four seats demonstrates that it has failed to gather the required magical figure of 122 seats.

—————————————————————-

The map posted below will give you the mammoth presence of BJP across the nation. Momentum is not lost in the previous assembly polls of MAHARASHTRA, HARYANA, JAMMU & KASHMIR & JHARKHAND. DELHI being the sole exception.

BJP Rulred States After 2014 Lok Sabha Elections

BJP Rulred States After 2014 Lok Sabha Elections

So I hope that Zee TV’s 2/3rd majority prediction for BJP+ will be manifested in results. A new churning has begun in Bihar. Youth and female voters are heralding the new change in the hugely patriarchal and caste-ridden Bihar. Victorious march of BJP will continue in the Bihar and will change the JUNGLE-RAJ of beef eating socialists.

Election - 5

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 13, 2015           01.30 A.M.

The hugely popular annual telly show Bigg Boss is here again in its 9th season. I watched the premier show on Sunday i.e. on October 11, 2015.

Bigg Boss - 9

I found to my amazement that this season of Bigg Boss has 3 participants, who were trained by me. They are : Kishwar Merchant, Rimii Sen & Vikas Bhalla.

It is so uncanny that from Season – 1 to Season – 6, there were 2 students of mine as participants in every season.

Season – 7 had 3 students of mine as participants.

Season – 8 had the maximum students. There were 5 participants.

Now Season – 9 again has 3 students, like season 7.

There is just one regret. No student of mine were able to get the coveted title. Karishma Tanna was the only student, who became the 1st RUNNER UP in the 8th season.

B B - 8

Here is the complete list of all the participants.

Bigg Boss – Season – 1 : Amit Sadh / Ragini Shetty

Bigg Boss – Season – 2 : Monica Bedi / Zulfi Syed

Bigg Boss – Season – 3 : Aditi Govitrikar / Shamita Shetty

Bigg Boss – Season – 4 : Ashmit Patel / Samir Soni

Bigg Boss – Season – 5 : Mahek Chahal / Amar Upadhyay

Bigg Boss – Season – 6 : Niketan Madhok / Karishma Kotak

Bigg Boss – Season – 7 : Tanishaa Mukerji / Hazel Keech / Apurva Agnihotri

But ” Bigg Boss – Season 8 “ surpasses all the other seasons. It has 5 participants who are my students :

Bigg Boss – Season – 8 : Karishma Tanna / Minissha Lamba / Aarya Babbar / Pritam Pyaare / Upen Patel

Bigg Boss – Season – 9 : Kishwar Merchant / Rimii Sen / Vikas Bhalla

Thus total number of students, who participated in previous seasons of Bigg Boss and are there in the current 9th season , comes to 23.

I challenge all the acting institutes, including ” Facebook Acting Institute ” , who love to shout from the housetop, to come out with their data regarding Bigg Boss Seasons. I don’t think I will get any response. There is deafening silence as usual.

A Hypocrite Called Nayantara Sahgal

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 14, 2015           02.30 A.M.

Let me start with DADRI LYNCHING. It is despicable. It is atrocious. It is condemnable. No sane person will justify this heinous crime.

But it didn’t happen in a BJP-ruled state. It happened in Uttar Pradesh, a state ruled by SAMAJWADI PARTY, a family concern run by indefatigable MULAYAM SINGH YADAV and his bellicose clan.

Then came a statement of NAYANTARA SAHGAL, a forgotten, moth-eaten writer, who happened to be the niece of JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU, the 1st Prime Minister of India, and who got SAHITYA AKADEMY AWARD for her novel ” RICH LIKE US ” during her nephew Rajiv Gandhi’s rule. On October 06, 2015 she returned her SAHITYA AKADEMI AWARD to protest against “increasing intolerance and supporting right to dissent in the country”.

1

Her protest is against killing of Govind Pansare and M. M. Kalburgi and DADRI LYNCHING of a muslim person. I personally don’t support killing of writers or mob lynching. But I also have few questions for NAYANTARA SAHGAL.

3

She accepted SAHITYA AKADEMY AWARD in 1985, just a year after infamous 1984 Anti-Sikh riots of Delhi, during the term of her nephew Rajiv Gandhi. She didn’t return the award then. She didn’t return the award when Babri Majid was demolished. It happened again during Congress rule. She didn’t return the award when KASHMIRI PANDITS were driven out of their houses in Kashmir valley. She didn’t return the award when Narendra Dabholkar was murdered during Congress rule.

2

SO WHY NOW?

She did give her answer. She said, ” NOW THERE IS A HINDUTVA GOVERNMENT AT THE CENTRE.”

I call it selective outrage. She has double standards and is a stark hypocrite.

After her “outrage”, 25 more authors have returned their awards. But look at the facts. Only 25 out of 1004 recipients announce the returning of the awards. Out of these 25 authors, only 8 have written letters that they intend to return the award. And only 3 have returned the award money of INR 1,00,000.00 [ INR One Lakh ]. Wow! such brave intentions!

I denounce these bunch of jokers. They are out of sync with the NEW INDIA. They are jaded. They are archaic. They are hypocrites of the worst kind. It’s a good riddance. NEW INDIA is better placed without such pig-headed intellectuals.

NAYANTARA SAHGAL in her swanky mansion in Dehradun

NAYANTARA SAHGAL in her swanky mansion in Dehradun

Sitting in their swanky mansions, these outdated intellectuals pretend that they know India better. According to me NAYANTARA SAHGAL’s belated protest is linked to her feeling of being a part of Nehru-Gandhi oligarchy and a failed attempt to thwart a perceived threat to the Nehruvian legacy.

threat to the Nehruvian legacy.

F.I.P.I.C. – Narendra Modi’s Unsung Achievement

DSC01182

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 18, 2015           07.40 P.M.

When history is being created, it is very difficult to guess its importance, analyse its impact and appreciate its value. It is much easier to appreciate the importance, impact and value of the events when history is finally made and the leader is gone. Appreciation becomes more difficult in India when the achiever is Narendra Modi, who is adored by millions but deplored by few for reasons best known to them only. So many epoch-making decisions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the realm of Foreign Affairs seem to be inconsequential to these haters and because of the cacophony created by them along with media, are beyond the comprehension of even the students of current affair and contemporary history. Even scholars of foreign affairs are not very much appreciative of the endeavours of Prime Minister Modi for some of his epoch-making initiatives.

If Congress and Left-Liberal Intellectuals along with paid Media can’t fathom and accept the gigantic victorious juggernaut of Narendra Modi in India, [ May 2014 – October 2015 ] then I can understand their denial mode regarding the achievements of foreign policy because generally they are not visible on terra firma so soon.

India Under Modi in 2015

India Under Modi in 2015

Three initiatives in the field of foreign affairs, in my opinion, are truly historic and may be finally appreciated only after Modi is gone. They are :

1 – Forum for India-Pacific Islands cooperation [ FIPIC ]

2 – Indian Ocean Outreach Programme [ IOOP ]

3 – India-Africa Forum Summit [ IAFS ]

The third initiative India-Africa Forum Summit [ IAFS ]  is not Prime Minister Modi’s creation. But under him is has become gigantic. If something grows to 54 from 14/15, it deserves appreciation. So I consider it to be his initiative.

3

The 3rd India Africa Forum Summit 2015 is going to be held in New Delhi from 26-30 October. Mandarins of the Ministry of External Affairs are spending sleepless nights to achieve the lofty goals set by Prime Minister Modi. Leaders of all the 54 countries have been personally invited and are expected to take part in the summit. Only 14 African countries participated in the 1st India-Africa Forum Summit, which was held from April 4 to April 8, 2008 in New Delhi.

The 2nd India-Africa Forum Summit was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from May 24 to May 25, 2011. 15 countries participated in the summit. So the 3rd edition of the India-Africa Forum Summit is the biggest ever congregation of the African Heads of State. It stands in direct contrast to the much-lauded Forum on China-Africa Cooperation & United States-Africa Leaders Summit.

This summit is only a week away, so I will write about it next week.

Indian Ocean Island Nations

Indian Ocean Island Nations

Before this, Narendra Modi went on the tour of India Ocean Island Nations. He toured Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Seychelles. It is known as INDIAN OCEAN OUTREACH PROGRAMME. This historic tour and foreign affair initiative was largely ignored by myopic India media and Prime Minister Modi’s haters. I will talk about this some other time.

14 Pacific Island Nations

14 Pacific Island Nations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 1st initiative in foreign affairs is known as Forum for India-Pacific Islands cooperation [FIPIC]. FIPIC is also ignored by the students and scholars of foreign affairs alike. They think that it is useless exercise of Prime Minister Modi in self-promotion.

FIPIC is a multinational grouping developed in 2014 by Prime Minister Modi for cooperation between India and 14 Pacific Islands nations which include Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. All Head of state/head of government of the above countries met in Suva, Fiji in November 2014 for the first time where the annual summit was conceptualised by Prime Minister Modi.

1st FIPIC Summit – Suva, Fiji ============================

1st FIPIC Summit

Prime Minister of India, PM Narendra Modi chose to visit Fiji soon after democracy was re-established in the island country after 8 years. There, apart from bilateral meeting, he also met heads of state/government from 14 pacific island states to enhance India’s engagement in the region and proposed a ‘Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation’ (FIPIC) be held on a regular basis. He conveyed India’s keenness to work closely with Pacific Island nations to advance their development priorities in this regard a number of measures to strengthen India’s partnership in the region were proposed. which include :

1- Setting up of a ‘special fund of $1 million’ for adapting climate change vis-a-vis clean energy,

2- Establishing a ‘trade office’ in India,

3- ‘Pan Pacific Islands e-network’ to close the physical distance between the islands by improving digital connectivity,

4- Extending visa on arrival at Indian airports for all the fourteen Pacific Island countries,

5- ‘Space cooperation’ in space technology applications for improving the quality of life of the islands,

6- ‘Training to diplomats’ from Pacific Island countries to increase mutual understanding.

2nd FIPIC Summit – Jaipur, India

============================

2nd FIPIC Summit

One of the key outcome of the first summit in Suva, Fiji was that top leadership of both India and Pacific Islands should meet at a regular interval and an annual summit should be instituted in this regard. Prime Minister Modi invited all the 14 Pacific Islands nations head of states/head of government to India for the next rounds of talks in 2015. Jaipur, known as Pink city, was selected to host the main summit on 21 August 2015.
As per of India’s extended Act East policy, the South Asian country is actively promoting good relations with smaller islands nations of the South Pacific, along with heavyweights in the region, and cooperating on multiple issues which include blue economy (ocean based economy), oil and natural gas, mining, IT, health care, fishing and marine research. Space collaboration with Pacific countries are of vital for India as they provide ISRO, India’s space administration, an eye to monitor launch of their rockets.

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee welcomed all the visiting dignitaries at Rastrapati Bhavan on 20 August 2015 following which leaders went to Agra, on their way to Jaipur the summit venue, for a tour of Taj Mahal.

Indian media and Prime Minister Modi haters ignored Forum for India-Pacific Islands cooperation [ FIPIC ]. But not our arch-rival China. It was quite significant to see Chinese President Xi Jinping following Modi’s trail visited Fiji on 21 November (just 2 days after Prime Minister Modi’s trip) to meet a similar gathering of leaders indicating a struggle for influence between the two Asian giants in the island countries of south pacific. If you look at the location of FIPIC countries, and if you not blind by Narendra Modi hate, you can gauge its importance. All the FIPIC countries are located at the triangle of Asia, Australia and America continents. They are close to the west coast of USA, almost adjacent to Australia and New Zealand. They are south of China and Japan and East of Vietnam. Modi haters should know that this region is called by China as SOUTH CHINA SEA, the current flash point of China’s sea hegemony. With its presence there, India can monitor China and can be of some help to friendly countries like Japan and Vietnam. By being there, India can also take care of its strategic economic interests in the PACIFIC SEA REGION.

Strategic Lacation of FIPIC

Strategic Location of FIPIC

Indian National Congress has developed unfathomable allergy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I challenge them to cite initiatives taken by them in the arena of foreign affairs. Barring now moribund NON-ALIGNED MOVEMENT [ started by the 1st Prime Minister of India Late Jawaharlal Nehru ] , there is no such initiative in sight.

Vidur Acting Institute Logo

On behalf of all the students & staff of VIDUR Acting Institute , VIDUR Editing Studio , VIDUR Club and VIDUR Merchandise, I congratulate my Prime Minister Narendra Modi for such epoch-making but unsung initiative in the field of foreign policy.

[ Historical facts, data and other material about Forum for India-Pacific Islands cooperation [ FIPIC ] / Indian Ocean Outreach Programme [ IOOP ] & India-Africa Forum Summit [ IAFS ] have been taken from Wikipedia. I express my gratitude. ]

Sanjeev Bhatt Exposed

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 22, 2015           00.20 A.M.

I read Supreme Court judgment about Sanjeev Bhatt, the disgraced Gujarat cop. I was curious to know more details. I just visited http://www.opindia.com and was amazed. I found what I was looking. It is a friend’s account of Sanjeev Bhatt’s deceit and conniving campaign, which he launched against Narendra Modi, then Gujarat’s Chief Minister.

Nirendra Dev was close to Sanjeev Bhatt and must be privy to many of his secrets. He is no ordinary mortal. He is Sp. Representative of The Statesman, New Delhi.

I am quoting verbatim and reproducing the article. I express my gratitude to Shri Nirendra Dev and Opindia.

—————————————————————–

CR0Wz3dUwAAgAdM

Journalist and old friend of Sanjiv Bhatt asks: Did you use me Sanjiv Sahab?

This piece is about two people. One a politician who is the Prime Minister of India and the other a Gujarat cop – now dismissed. From a reader’s perspective there are always different ways of looking at a writer/blogger. On the other hand, bloggers too preserve their rights and prejudices too.

Narendra Modi has been a politician and a chief protagonist of my three books on his state and him. But Modi was never a friend though I had always admired him for certain traits as an administrator in Gujarat and as a ‘grounded’ leader who looked decisive on many matters chiefly working on developmental projects.

On the other hand, Sanjiv Bhatt was a good friend and more a ‘good source’ in Gujarat police when I was deputed by Press Trust of India (PTI) there to cover the year’s toughest assignment the post-Godhra mayhem of 2002. I always believed Sanjiv or our ‘Sanjiv Sahab’ never lied to me. I will continue to cherish this belief.

But on October 13, 2015, none other than the Supreme Court of India had choicest of words and phrases for him. “We are not impressed by aforesaid submissions. It cannot be said that the petitioner (Sanjiv Bhatt) has come to this Court with clean hands,” the court of Chief Justice of India H L Dattu and Justice Arun Mishra ruled.

I continued to be in a mystified stage as the reports of the court proceedings came in. Of course, I knew from 2009-10 that Sanjiv Bhatt was perhaps erroneous in his handling of the entire episode wherein he had filed an affidavit claiming Modi as Chief Minister of Gujarat told select few senior police officials (on February 27, 2002) that the Hindu rioters should be allowed to avenge the injustice of Godhra train inferno. Other police officials, including the then DGP K Chakravarthy had denied that Sanjiv Bhatt had attended such a meeting. There was no police record to substantiate Sanjiv’s claims too. The official version being – he was too junior to be summoned for such a high-level meeting.

Despite regarding him a friend and ‘reliable source’ – to use a journalistic cliche – I was somehow not convinced about Sanjiv Bhatt’s version. I was often ridiculed in the established secular lobby of New Delhi and Ahmedabad journalism for my ‘not trusting’ a friend and backing a Hindutva leader, NaMo.

I probably went by my instincts and thought Sanjiv Bhatt must have fallen into some wrong hands. The official claim that Sanjiv Bhatt was too junior to attend such a meeting somehow worked for me. One reason for the same being, only ‘trusted’ senior cops would be convened for a high-level meeting with a Chief Minister. I knew from my experience in Nagaland, mere seniority does not make you win a Chief Minister’s trust. S C Jamir, the former Nagaland Chief Minister and the present Odisha Governor, had tutored me a few tricks of running an administration.

So my argument was: Even if Sanjiv Bhatt was authorized to go to such a meeting (in the absence of his senior), there was no surety the Chief Minister would trust a junior fellow. To say that Sanjiv Bhatt did not know this would be wrong again.

Nevertheless, the detailed ruling from the apex court of the land and that too telling in as many words that  Sanjiv Bhatt has used ‘media card’ and was only a tool to Modi’s political detractors was a sad affair overall.

The court had ruled, “He (Sanjiv) had exchanged  e-mails with rival political party leaders and was being tutored by the  lawyer of NGO and its activist. Ghost questions and answers were also prepared as to what the petitioner was required to speak before Justice Nanavati Commission. Petitioner has used the media card, has even sent the e-mails to influence the judicial proceedings of a  3-Judge Bench of this Court (Supreme Court) and has tried to influence the amicus  curiae. The e-mails also indicate that he tried pressure groups and  tried to invoke media pressure”.

I felt let down. Did Sanjiv use some of his media friends too and needless to add – by basking in the ‘glory’ of being one-man against Modi – Sanjiv’s friend circles in media had changed by then? His onetime ‘babu moshai from Mumbai’ (this blogger) was hardly in the inner circle! And thus during December 2012 election campaign for the state assembly, my interaction with Sanjiv Bhatt – when his wife Shweta was contesting against Modi from Maninagar assembly segment – was minimum and more of a courtesy meeting. Sanjiv’s friends now were high-flying journos, TV anchors and Padmasri awardees.

On October 14, a day after the apex court ruling, I confided in my wife and few close friends in Delhi and Mumbai and also with one special friend on Facebook that overall it was a ‘sad’ affair. Sanjiv has been slammed – this time not by BJP’s battery of spokespersons but by the Supreme Court itself. And if Sanjiv sahab had any ‘media card’ – our profession has been misused.

I have stated earlier of the apprehension I had about him falling into ‘wrong hands’ – for essentially I thought and many journalists who have served in Ahmedabad would believe that he was a sharp cop. I still have a few fond memories of his genuine friendship and helping me in discharge of my duties as a journalist for a highly demanding wire agency Press Trust of India (PTI).

But, I am afraid, one cannot sympathise with him further. So, rather one is convinced to take the harsh but candid line of a noisy TV anchor that ‘the credibility of Sanjiv Bhatt is over’. This is perhaps a big casualty of the 2002 Godhra train inferno and the subsequent politics perpetrated from either side.

On a broader larger scale, what angers me most is that the ‘credibility’ of a police official has been hit. It demonstrates gross abuse of police force, IPS cadre and a brilliant police officer by the Congress party and the NGOs — the permanent Modi detractors. This judgement of the Supreme Court, in my opinion, has made our friend Sanjiv Bhatt the Man-of-the-year 2015 – of course for the wrong reasons. Is Sanjiv Bhatt a case of abuse of a ‘weakest’ link by Congress party and the NGO brigade?

We know in a contest of unbalanced confrontation, like the story of David and Goliath; the weakest has to outsmart the strongest. My friend just could not. Sanjiv sahab is still active in social networking. He has the right to do so. But he needs to pull himself back for a while. And I sincerely feel so.

Now, the bigger question is should there be a probe into Congress-Sanjiv Bhatt nexus in the entire episode — to dig out the truth?

Feroze Rangoonwala with his Collection

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           SEPTEMBER 13, 2015           09.35 P.M.

Eminent film historian Feroze Rangoonwala, credited with having written the highest number of books on Indian cinema, is no more.

Rangoonwala passed away at his residence in Mumbai on August 04, 2015 at the age of 82 after prolonged sickness.

He has left behind a wealth of information on Indian cinema, particularly at a time when efforts are on to save cinematic material for archival purposes.

Rangoonwala was best known for creating the first book of Indian filmography in 1969, Indian Film Index, and his magnum opus, Pictorial History of Indian Cinema, which for its period of issue had a record run in printing. Its Russian translation led to Indian cinema being introduced to the big Soviet readership, which loved Indian films. The book also saw multiple printings.

It came about five years after Indian Film written by an American film historian Erik Barnouw and Indian filmmaker S Krishnaswamy, which was the other major book on Indian cinema at that time.

Rangoonwala wrote 15 major books spanning a career of five decades. These included Indian cinema, Past and Present in 1983, and several monographs on different film personalities including those on filmmakers Guru Dutt and Bimal Roy – some written for the National Film Archives of India. Other books include Satyajit Ray’s ArtSeventy-five years of Indian cinema, and Bharatiya Chalchitra Itihas.

He started as a film publicist in Mumbai in the early 1950s, and soon created a major hobby into a scholastic career. He also collected a large number of film posters and rare photographs. His knowledge of the film industry made him a much sought after person to sit in both international and Indian film juries.

Unfortunately Rangoonwala remained least acknowledged by the Indian government circles and did not receive any accolades.

Rangoonwala finally called it a day in 2006, as illness dogged him.

He sold off his entire collection of Indian cinema memorabilia to a collector of film history and retreated into private life. He also donated some rare photographs from cinema to the National Film Archives of India.

Feroze Rangoonwala

Feroze Rangoonwala

I came to know of him in early 70s. I came across an article written by him in 2 parts in “Star & Style”. It was about Dilip Kumar. It was so well-written that I became a fan of Feroze Rangoonwala. I still have this magazine in the library of my Deoria house. Alas ! I could not meet him ever. I will always regret this.

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           SEPTEMBER 17, 2015           06.05 P.M.

Hi Pawni ,

It gives me immense pleasure to write you this letter and contact you on this auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

An acting trainer is not supposed to train a play back singer but I am fortunate enough to train not 1 or 2 but 3 play back singers. Shweta Pandit , you and Akasa Singh.

I write briefly about you when I wrote a blog about the film ” Gulaab Gang ” [ 2014 ] and celebrated the success story of my another student Tanvi Rao. At that particular time you were getting trained in Batch No. 82 , so I promised that I will write about you when your training will get over.

Today as I was sitting in my office all alone and since institute is closed for the day and I have no class, I thought it proper to listen all the songs sung by you. You are kind enough to send me the links of the songs from time to time.

From ” JHOOMO RE JHOOMO ” of ” KISAAN ” [ 2009 ] to your latest ” NAINA TOSE LAGE ” of ” MEERUTHIYA GANGSTER ” [ 2015 ] , I listened all the songs one by one.

It amazing to notice that you sung 1 song in ” KISAAN ” in 2009. After a gap of 5 years you sung 3 songs in 2014. ” SHARM LAAJ MOH MAR KAR ” in ” GULAAB GANG ” / ” LOVELY JIND WALI ” in ” FUGLY ” and ” KHELEN ” in ” SATYAMEVA JAYATE – Season 3 “.

According to me 2015 is going to be the most worthwhile and fruitful year in you career . Till September you have sung 3 songs. They are : ” GEHLORE KI GORIYA ” in ” MANJHI THE MOUNTAIN MAN ” / ” MEET ME DAILY BABY ” in ” WELCOME BACK ” and ” NAINA TOSE LAGE ” in ” MEERUTHIYA GANGSTER ” . All the 3 above mentioned films are important films.

I would particularly like to mention ” NAINA TOSE LAGE ” from ” MEERUTHIYA GANGSTER ” as the most important song of your career till date. It is a solo song of yours and the male version is sung by none other than Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Nushrat Bharucha. You have sung it so well that I can already see a bright future for you as a play back singer. Matching Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the beginning of your career is an unimaginable feat. And you accomplished it so brilliantly. Though you showed the spark very early in your life when you became a finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs and were advanced to fifth place with public votes.

With Pawni Pandey in My Office

I am providing YouTube links of all the 7 songs sung by you. Readers of my blog can click on the link and can listen the 7 songs.

This list gives testimony of your range and provides a yardstick to the viewers and listeners to gauge your potential. Though, I already see a very bright future for you but I could be accused of bias and partiality. Public is always a fair judge. So let them decide.

Devendra Fadnavis’s Open Letter to Rajdeep Sardesai

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           SEPTEMBER 22, 2015           07.00 P.M.

I want to make it clear that this is not an original blog written by me. It is verbatim reproduction of a letter written by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra to senior TV journalist Shri Rajdeep Sardesai.

If you want to read the article written by Shri Rajdeep Sardesai in Hindustan Times, you can please click the following link :

Read | Food governance or good governance: Open letter to Mr Fadnavis

I hope after reading the above mentioned letter of Shri Rajdeep Sardesai and the below posted answer of Shri Devendra Fadnavis, you would be able to form your opinion about the hidden and well-thought of agenda of Left-Liberal and Pseudo-Secular intelligentsia and journalists. You would know how they are hell-bent on maligning the BJP led nationalist government.

===============================================

Dear Rajdeep,

Normally I don’t reply to every open letter by ‘senior’ journalists but this time I thought if I didn’t, the Goebbels law — speak what is untrue several times over and it becomes the truth — may prevail. Your letter is an excellent example of how a section of the media, without having sound knowledge, bashes a government with an agenda.

Let me bring some clarity to the first issue you have raised. My state government did not take the decision to ban meat. Not a single new order went from the government to any local body. The Congress government in 2004 took the decision to close a slaughter-house for two days in Paryushan Parva. It was conveyed to all municipal corporations then. Since then all municipal corporations including Mira-Bhaindar started implementing it. Additionally municipal corporations like Mumbai and Mira-Bhaindar adopted resolutions to ban it for additional days within their own powers, which in the case of Mumbai dates back to 1994. Surprisingly, none of you ever objected to it until we came to power. Obviously you were comfortable with the pseudo-secular image of the previous government, howsoever corrupt and non-performing it was.

It’s quite possible that you know this but it doesn’t suit your agenda.

In the case of Rakesh Maria, you seem to be confused. Your post-script says the Sheena Bora murder case should not have assumed the kind of importance it was accorded by the media. Then why did you choose to write on it, linking it with the transfer of the city police chief? A police chief is not an investigating officer but just a supervisory authority. I would like to tell you that the practice of promoting senior people, a few days in advance, is not new. Such decisions are taken keeping in mind the objective to let the new one who is going to take over understand the prevailing situation. The months of September and October are full of festivals, including the Ganesh Festival, Eid celebrations and Navratri.

If the government thought that instead of changing a police commissioner in the midst of festivities it was better to put a new person in place before the festive season started, what’s so wrong about it? Although I believe that officers have no caste and religion the point could also have been raised as to why Maria was made commissioner of police, Mumbai, sidelining two senior and equally decorated officers like Ahmad Javed, a person from a minority community, and Vijay Kamble, a person from a backward community. However, I would say that the government at that point of time thought that Maria was better suited for the situation.

Your take on sedition can be termed a classic product of a biased mind. I want to ask you whether the state is expected to convey a decision given by the hon’ble high court to the police or not? Again, not a single decision has been taken by our government in this regard. In one of the cases in the high court, an affidavit was filed by the then Congress-led government and the court delivered a detailed judgment interpreting the scope and ambit of the applicability of sedition, and also directed to convey it to the police. The department made a faithful translation of the judgment in Marathi and conveyed it to all the police stations via an office circular. Every single item in the circular is just a translation of the judgment. Mr Sardesai, you may not want to go through such details to understand the issue just because you wish to pursue your leftist agenda vigorously and passionately.

It’s apparent how much pain it causes you to mention a word about the water conservation initiative of our government — the flagship programme of Jalyukta Shivar Yojna — to make Maharashtra drought-free. It is a programme that has become most successful. The generous contributions by people — more than Rs 300 crore — have helped us to execute nearly 100,000 works in 6,000 villages within six months. The results are evident. Despite the scanty rainfall, the villages are boasting distributed water storages and increased water tables. It was lauded as a game changer by the ‘Jalpurush’ of India, Rajendra Singh, at the Stockholm Water Conference. This programme will provide moisture security to the farmers and assure crop sustainability by mitigating the effects of climate change.

It’s really sad to see that people like you get disturbed by an imaginary situation that there won’t be a piece of meat in your platter for two days when my annadata is taking extreme steps because he has no food to eat. That is why the state has decided to implement a food security scheme for six million farmers by giving them wheat at Rs 2 per kg and rice at Rs 3 per kg. The infamous legacy of farmer suicides, which we inherited from 15 years of bad governance, is a challenge that doesn’t let me sleep. But the initiatives started by our government, I’m sure, will deliver results in due course.

Whether there is a ban on meat or not, a common man expects roti or rice in his plate. And I am more concerned about it than anything else. Mr Sardesai, the content of your letter can be part of your profession but the resolve in my reply is my mission and I will accomplish it. My mantra of life is ‘perform or perish’ and time alone would decide my destiny.

Yours sincerely and without malice.

Devendra Fadnavis

Obituary :

===============

Aadesh Shrivastava :

—————————–

Aadesh Shrivastava was a music composer and singer . Over the course of his career, he had composed music for over 100 Hindi films. On September 5, 2015 , just a day after he turned 51, he died of cancer in Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai .

Aadesh ji got his first big break with film ” Kanyadaan “ [ 1993 ] . Among the singers who sang in this movie, there was Lata Mangeshkar who sang his first song – Oh Sajna Dilbar, a duet with Udit Narayan which became popular in radio. But the film and the rest of songs went unnoticed. The same thing happened with ” Jaan e Tamanna “ , but he bounced back with Aao Pyaar Karen ” . One track “Haathon Mein Aa Gaya Jo Kal” was a hit. His other films are ” Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya ” andShastra “ . The chart buster “Kya Ada Kya Jalwe Tere Paro” from the film ” Shastra “ got him in the limelight once again.

Aadesh ji  sang a number of hit songs such as “Sona sona”, “Shava Shava”, “Gustakhiyaan” and “Gur Nalon Ishq Mitha”. He won accolades for his work in Kunwara ” ” Tarkieb ” andShikari in the year 2000. In 2001, his success continued with the movieBas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai

In 2005, he was a judge on the talent hunt show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. He returned to television as a judge on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009. His semi-classical song Mora Piya from Raajneeti became a hit in 2010 .

Mohan Bhandari :

—————————–

Veteran TV actor Mohan Bhandari died after a long battle with brain tumour on September 24, 2015. He was in his early 60s. He was struggling with the illness for the last few years after suffering brain hemorrhage.

He appeared in several serials including ” Khaandaan ” on DD ” Karz ” , ” Parampara ” , ” Jeevan Mrityu ” , ” Pathjhad ” , ” Gumraah ” and ” Mile Sur Mera Tumhara “.

He was also seen in the Bollywood films like ; ” Bawandar “, ” Pratighaat ” ,  ” Mangal Pandey -The Rising ” & ” Paheli “.

Currently he was working in a serial called “ Tere Shehar Mein “.

 Hemant Bhosle :

—————————

Hemant Bhosle, the music director who succumbed to cancer last month on September 28, 2015 in Scotland, was not only son of legendary Asha Bhosle but also was a talented composer who perhaps did not get enough opportunities to create his own distinctive style. He died at the age of 66.

He had a feel for romantic duets; especially those he composed for Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle. The composer worked in several films with Majrooh Sultanpuri , who penned some of his popular tracks.

Two of Hemant’s early films were Eshmayeel Shroff’s ” Agar ” and ” Taxi Taxi ” [ 1977 ] in which Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle had come together to sing ‘Laayee Kahaan Ae Zindagi’. ” Taxi Taxi ” [ 1977 ] and ” Anpadh ” [ 1978 ], did not fare well at the cash counter. ” Damaad ” [ 1978 ] was a minor box-office success. Hemant also gave the score for Anil Sharma’s ” Shraddhanjali ” [ 1981 ] , again a minor success, and ” Bandhan Kuchchey Dhaagon Ka ” [ 1983 ].

Hemant Bhosle had also composed music for Marathi Bhavgeet “Sharad Sundar ” and ” Yeu Kashi Priya “ , all of which his mother had sung.
It is very sad that his sister Varsha Bhosle also died young at the age of 56 in 2012.

Bihar Election 2015 & Biased Media

Others: 14

[ Poll predictions and all the other data has been extensively quoted from the website of the various Media channels. I express gratitude. ]

1st FIPIC Summit – Suva, Fiji ============================

============================

19 Indian Origin MPs In Canadian Parliament

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 23, 2015           00.45 A.M.

I follow Shri Tarun Chugh on Twitter. He is a BJP leader from Punjab and is in-charge of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. He tweeted about victory of 19 PIOs [ Persons of Indian Origin ] in the 2015 parliamentary elections of Canada. Results were declared on October 19, 2015. Out of these 19 MPs, there are 5 Punjabi females, 5 Sikhs, 7 mona Punjabis and remaining 2 are others. There is one Ms. Anju Dhillon, who created history by winning from Quebec, the French-speaking province of Canada.

I felt proud and happy.

19 Indian-Canadian MPs

My knowledge of Canada began when I read about the 1914 episode of Komagata Maru in history chapters. But my earliest personal memory of Canada dates back to 1968, when Pierre Trudeau, riding on the unprecedented wave called “TRUDEAUMANIA” , won the Canadian parliamentary elections and became the prime minister. I had left my native place Deoria, Uttar Pradesh in 1967 and got admitted in the Government Inter College, Allahabad. I had already started taking interest in world affairs. So Pierre Trudeau and Trudeaumania was a new revelation for me. Trudeau was prime minister till 1984. Barring a brief interruption, he was prime minister for unprecedented 16 years. He lost the elections because of his wife Margaret. I still remember article about him in DINAMAN, a popular political weekly of those days [ Trudeau ki Triya : Wife of Trudeau ] After his defeat I got entangled in my personal affair and lost touch. My 1st honeymoon with Canada ended with Pierre Trudeau’s departure.

Political Map of Canada

Political Map of Canada

My 2nd affair with Canada started when I came Mumbai in 1989 and started my life as an acting trainer. I have 4 students from Canada till date. My 1st student is MIA EVONNE UYEDA, a French origin Canadian. Then I have 3 other students, Canada nationals of Indian origin. They are : AVNEET GILL, PAMMI BRAR & SAPNA SEHRAVAT.

My 3rd honeymoon with Canada started this year with the highly successful tour of our prime minister Narendra Modi. I watched his community reception in RICOH COLISEUM, TORONTO on April 15, 2015. I was enthralled by the vigour and energy of the Indian diaspora. I felt proud. I thought its going to be the last Canadian chapter in my life. But history plays unknown, unpredictable games with us.

I never knew that Pierre Trudeau will visit my life one more time. He will visit rather pretty soon. And as I stated in the beginning, I came to know about 19 victorious MPs of Indian origin in recently concluded parliamentary elections. When I read the victorious leader’s name, I just smiled. Its none other than Justin Trudeau, the eldest son of Pierre Trudeau. 31 year after Trudeau senior’s retirement, his son returns as the triumphant leader of his father’s Liberal party. He trounced and ended a decade long rule of Stephen Harper, the Conservative leader. New Democratic Party, the eternally 3rd NDP remains 3rd.

I remembered Justin Trudeau and hid daughter’s picture with our prime minister Narendra Modi.

While writing this blog, I am smiling and remembering Pierre Trudeau, who apart from Comagata Maru, was my 1st interest in Canadian history. And now his elder son Justin Trudeau makes me a fan because he leads a parliament, which has 19 MPs of Indian origin.

Indian Canadians are just 3% of Canada’s population. But they are 8.15% of the 184 victorious Liberal MPs.

BJP Victories in 2015 : From Andaman to Ladakh & Goa

MUMBAI – MAHARASHTRA – INDIA           OCTOBER 28, 2015           12.40 P.M.

May 2014 is the date India, Indians and the world wont be able to forget for a long time. It is permanently etched in the memory of the nationalists, seculars, Left-Liberals of India and the people of the world at large. Result of Indian general elections were declared in May and Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party won absolute majority on its own in LOK SABHA.

Almost 5 months later in October 2014 MAHARASHTRA and HARYANA, 2 states went to polls. BJP won the elections and formed governments in both the states for the first time.

Two months later in November / December 2014 JHARKHAND and JAMMU & KASHMIR state assemblies went to polls. BJP again won Jharkhand on its own and formed the government. BJP swept Jammu but fell short of majority in Jammu & Kashmir assembly. It formed the government with the help of PDP of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. It got post of Speaker and Dy. Chief Minister and heads several important ministries. Both the state governments are the first for BJP. JHARKHAND on its own and JAMMU & KASHMIR in coalition.

So the year 2014 ended with unprecedented success for BJP. First Lok Sabha, then in the assemblies of MAHARASHTRA, HARYANA , JHARKHAND and JAMMU & KASHMIR, BJP scored impressive victory in all the 4 states.

2015 started with a sour note. In February 2015, BJP lost DELHI to Aam Aadmi Party. Its BJP’s only defeat till date. Its only defeat of indefatigable Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister and modern-day Chanakya and bellicose Amit Shah, the BJP President.

August 2015 came as the month of victory in Local Body elections. BJP made impressive gains in the municipal boards and municipal corporations in MADHYA PRADESH, RAJASTHAN and BRUHAT BENGALURU MAHANAGARA PALIKE. BJP made clean sweep in the Local Body elections of the 3 states.

But the real game changer came a month later.

Came month of September 2015 and it brought unexpected and unprecedented victory of BJP in Panchayat and Municipal elections of ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS. Andaman & Nicobar Islands are the remote area and was not considered as stronghold of BJP.

All the other above mentioned national, provincial and local body elections were widely reported and discussed in the national print and electronic media. But Local Body elections of ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS were not even prominently and properly reported. Media almost ignored it. Therefore I am chronicling results of these election.

October 2015 brought another BJP victory to our notice. BJP swept LADAKH AUTONOMOUS HILL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL. It won 2/3rd majority in LAHDC for the first time.

In the same month, i.e. October 2015, while I was about to post this blog, last night came the news of BJP victory in the GOA Local Body Elections. Out of 11 Municipal Councils, BJP won 6, Congress won 4 and 1 got hung verdict.

But let me first start with Andaman & Nicobar Island results.

A complete rejection of the Congress, acceptance of RSS programmes and attraction for Narendra Modi’s development plank seem to have worked in favour of the BJP, which registered a landslide victory in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) elections in October 2015.

Congress won majority in Valpoi, Quepem, Margao, and Cuncolim.

Canacona saw the candidates from two sides winning five seats each.

———————————————————————

Thus apart from DELHI assembly elections, BJP, after winning Lok Sabha, won 4 assembly elections of MAHARASHTRA, HARYANA, JHARKHAND and JAMMU & KASHMIR.

BJP also won Local Body Elections in 6 states of MADHYA PRADESH, RAJASTHAN, BENGALURU, ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS, LADAKH and GOA.

Battle of BIHAR is going on. Election of 3rd phase is going to be held today. 2 phases are still left. Results will be out on November 8, 2015. But about Bihar, I will write later.

===============================================

And to my utter surprise I noticing that there were no lean months in these 6 years. There were more than a dozen working students every month.

Obituary :

===============

——————————————————————

[ Poll predictions and all the other data has been extensively quoted from the website of the various Media channels. I express gratitude. ]
